Founder - Shari B. Kaplan, LCSW
Shari B. Kaplan is the founder and clinical director of Cannectd Wellness. With over 30 years of experience in NYC and Florida, Kaplan creates integrative mental health programs using trauma protocols to facilitate mind, body, and soul healing. She also develops plant extract formulations for enhancing cannabis to target specific disorders/diseases. As a leading mental health and plant formulation expert, Kaplan uses a transformative approach emphasizing the power of blending traditional therapy and medicine with innovative practices like plant medicine, ketamine therapy, trauma mind/body work, nutrition, fitness, and personal transformation. Her integrative protocols aim to empower individuals on their path to improved mental health and well-being.
Clinical Director
Dr. Michelle Weiner DO, MPH
Dr. Michelle Weiner is a double board-certified physician in Interventional Pain Medicine and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She completed residency and fellowship training at the University of Miami. Dr. Weiner chairs Florida's Medical Cannabis Advisory Committee and focuses on personalized, preventative medicine using plant medicines. Her research explores utilizing cannabis as an opioid substitute for chronic pain and its effects on seniors. She is currently investigating methods to optimize cannabinoid bioavailability. Dr. Weiner serves as faculty and preceptor at Nova Southeastern University, educating medical students. She is also Vice President of Mr. Psychedelic Law, advocating for responsible psilocybin reform in Florida. Dr. Weiner uses cannabis and ketamine therapy to identify and treat the root causes of suffering, improving patient quality of life.
Holistic Health & Wellness Coach/ Psychedelic RN
Jessica Stark, RN
Jessica was a prior traveling nurse who decided to leave the hospital and go back to school to pursue holistic nursing. She has a growing passion for natural/alternative medicine, including psychedelics and places a priority on mental health. Working as a Ketamine integration nurse and sitter, Jessica is with the patient from beginning to end. She will sit with the patient before the session to go over what their set intention is and create a space for them to feel safe. Jessica will remain with or near the patient as they go about their journey, and once completed, will listen and speak on what they experienced during their psychedelic conquest. She will then educate the patient on how to integrate the profound insight from the journey to do the “work” once they’re ready to go home. Jessica holds much empathy for each individual and believes everyone has the power to connect to their highest wisdom. With this belief, she wishes to provide accountability to her patients while enacting a positive, lasting change to all aspects of their health- Mental, Physical, Emotional, Spiritual.

Jenelle is a Miami-based trauma-informed executive coach specializing in life transitions, using an integrative approach that combines modern coaching methods with the intentional use of psychedelics. As a certified professional coach with a degree in health science, she employs diverse modalities such as embodiment, pain reprocessing therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), behavior change, and design thinking. Her practice focuses on connecting with the emotional root of behavior, identifying limiting beliefs, and empowering clients through personalized goal-setting and accountability. Whether in-person or virtually, Jenelle guides those ready to change on a transformative journey toward self-discovery, growth, and fulfillment.

Anamargret Sanchez
Anamargret was born in Kingston, Jamaica into a racially mixed family. This diverse background has given her the ability to move effortlessly throughout the world. Her curiosity and reverence for the esoteric directed her toward yoga philosophy. For the past two decades she has taught and shared yoga from her personal experiences. By cultivating a strong mindfulness practice she has courageously moved through both the shadow and the light that yoga has helped her uncover. These discoveries help her relate to students wherever they might find themselves. Her classes are fun, challenging, compassionate and create space for students to shine in their own light. In addition to teaching the many limbs of yoga like meditation, postures and breathing Anamargret is also a Transformational Coach. This work is rich in supporting others in their journey to an abundant and thriving life.
EMDR Therapist
Sarah A. Walker, Ph.D., LMFT
Dr. Sarah A. Walker is an EMDR therapist, hypnotherapist, and a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She completed her training and education at Nova Southeastern University. For the past decade and a half Dr. Walker has provided personalized therapy to individuals, couples, and families in South Florida who are looking to improve themselves, their relationships, and their communities. At heart Dr. Walker is a lifelong learner and a creative. She brings these skill sets to her specialties and expertise in the integration of creative endeavors as part of the whole of a mind-body innovative approach to mental health and total well-being. Current programs and projects she is working on include classes in yoga for trauma for adults and youth in foster care as well as therapeutic blacksmithing. Dr. Walker views the therapeutic process and relationship through the lens of exploration and utilization. She invites clients to view their lives and experiences through a perspective of curiosity in order to elicit possibilities.

Sheila Hernandez, MSW
Sheila Hernandez, a bilingual professional fluent in both English and Spanish, integrates holistic modalities with trauma-informed clinical tools to lead clients toward processing the adverse life experiences that are hindering their development in the present. She guides her clients through their chronic stress responses that are associated with anger, burnout, people-pleasing, chronic pain, anxiety, depression, and PTSD/C-PTSD. Sheila believes in the importance of harnessing each client’s innate wisdom and healing power. She utilizes her Psychology and Social Work degrees, Health and Wellness Coach certificate, and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) certificate to inform her practice. She considers each client's unique needs, environment, culture, and lifestyle to tailor her approach. Her expertise includes training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR), Trauma Incident Reduction (TIR), and Internal Family Systems (IFS). In addition to traditional methods, Sheila offers sound healing, ketamine-assisted therapy, and plant medicines when appropriate to help open doors to hidden chambers of the mind, where profound shifts occur and nervous system regulation becomes possible. A former nanny and homeschool teacher, she is especially passionate about guiding parents and individuals toward self-actualization– igniting a ripple effect of healing for their children and future generations.

Renée Burwell, LCSW, MPA, CST-S, CSE
Renée Burwell, LCSW, MPA, CST-S, CSE is a skilled psychotherapist and educator with specializations in couple’s work, sex therapy and trauma. Her goal is to help individuals, families, and communities heal and become more authentically themselves. She has trained with the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies and believes strongly in the power of plant medicine and other forms of psychedelic medicines in healing current and generational trauma. Renée holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Spelman College, a Master of Social Work and Master of Public Administration from the University of Southern California, a Post Graduate Certificate in Sex Therapy and Education from the University of Michigan, and is AASECT certified as a sex therapist, supervisor and educator.

Kaycie Davis
Kaycie is a mental health counselor and photographer who brings creativity, compassion, and diverse experience to her integrative practice. With a background in sport psychology, she takes a holistic approach to mental health—treating the mind, body and spirit. Kaycie’s eclectic training allows her to meet each client where they are and customize treatment using modalities like talk therapy, EMDR, somatic work, ketamine-assisted therapy, and plant medicines when appropriate. She views every person as a whole, helping them process past pains, shift limiting perspectives and design lifestyles that honor their unique needs. Though she treats many conditions, Kaycie specializes in depression, anxiety, PTSD, eating disorders, and end-of-life care. Having overcome her own mental health challenges, she deeply understands the courage it takes to seek help. Kaycie creates a warm, non-judgmental space for clients to feel safe, seen, and valued as they rediscover their best selves.

Alessandra Zapata
Alessandra Zapata is a mastered prepared, board-certified Nurse Practitioner with over 15 years of inpatient and outpatient healthcare experience in a plethora of areas such as Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Pain Management, Internal Medicine, Case Management, Psychedelic Medicine, Obesity Medicine, Aesthetic Medicine & so much more. Much of her background has focused on treating acute and chronic conditions which were often preventable diseases. It only makes sense that now her focus is on preventing and treating both acute and chronic conditions using precision medicine, as well as helping people enhance their natural features. Alessandra has had a plethora of aesthetic training including with top 100 injectors such as Jacob Sanchez of Get Refreshed, Lindsey Harder of Peacelove Medpsa, esteemed lip queen Julie Horne, Dr. Steven Fagien of Aesthetic Eyelid Plastic Surgery, Erika Barry aka Injector Bunny of Moksha Aesthetics & world renowned anatomist Dr. Sebastian Cotofana. Irina Vlada
Irina is an Awareness Coach rooted in guiding others to discover their authentic selves. After obtaining her coaching certification from the University of Miami, Irina traveled to India to study ancient practices like yoga, pranayama, and meditation. She incorporated these Eastern philosophies into her mindfulness-based coaching approach. Irina co-created Evolve, a wellness app connecting clients globally to mindful leaders for virtual sessions focused on personal transformation. Irina's diverse life experiences, including adversity and addiction, inspired her to continue educating herself in psychedelic integration. As a partner with Mindbloom, she has guided 150+ clients through ketamine medicine for mental health purposes. Irina leads Psychedelic Integration Circles and Discussions, raising awareness around intentional psychedelic use. A lifelong student of yoga, philosophy and academics, Irina cultivates connection and unity for those suffering disconnection and isolation.
Registered Dietitian and Certified Aromatherapist
Dr. Dana Dragone, RD DCN
Dr. Dana Dragone is a Registered Dietitian and Certified Aromatherapist. She has a passion for all things health and wellness and has dedicated her life to educating herself and others on how to heal through food and holistic methods. After completing her undergraduate degree in nutrition and dietetics at the University of Vermont she moved on to West Virginia University to complete a master’s in human nutrition and a Dietetic Internship. She spent the next 3 years working as a clinical dietitian in a hospital before attending the New York School of Aromatherapy to become a Certified Aromatherapist. Shortly after that, she completed the Doctorate of Clinical Nutrition program at the Maryland University of Integrative Health where she studied functional and integrative approaches to nutrition and wellness. She now combines her knowledge of aromatherapy, functional medicine, and holistic healing to specialize in gut health, specifically the gut-brain connection, and detoxification. Beyond focusing on human health, Dr. Dragone has a passion for sustainability and emphasizes environmentally friendly approaches to well-being. She also incorporates spirituality and the mind-body-soul connection into her patient care for a complete holistic take on health.
